WKU's offense is highly effective and entertaining. UTSA couldn't stop them very often. It was mostly dropped passes and penalties.

Was a wild game. We still have some things to work on. Many of us looked at our schedule coming into the season and thought we could be 1-4 at this point in the season and still have a good season but we hoped we would win at least one of these last four games. Nevertheless, the better team won tonight. Hope you guys win out on the regular season.

UTSA's wasn't any better they gave up 670 yards. Too many crucial dropped passes was the difference. UTSA is the best team in the league, looking that way at least. We might be the best one win team in the Group of 5 at least.

That was the only turnover that the UTSA defense had the whole game... It was due

It was the second. The first was when their D tipped our pass, intercepted, and then had it knocked out by Harris for a fumble recovery by our offense.

Wasn't just dropped passes. There were also some untimely penalties you guys committed, especially by the offensive line. Games like this, where the teams are so evenly matched, often come down to who makes the fewest mistakes.

Great game, WKU. Your offense is scary. I thought you had us on that last drive. The 15-yard chop block penalty gave us a chance and that INT was obviously the play of the game. Best of luck the rest of the season.

Congrats UTSA. It was a great game to watch. WKU has a great offense and QB. It's no small feat to be 6-0.

This is definitely new territory for us. Just going to enjoy the ride.

Last season we had a terrible offense, couldn’t buy a win. This season we have one of the top offenses in the country, still can’t win a game.

I was never sold on Helton, was disappointed last year, now I just don’t care, completely apathetic until we start beating FBS teams.

But winning at this point won’t matter. What, we win enough to go lose in a bowl to a MAC team? This sucks.

Goodbye to all our conference mates leaving for greener pastures, we deserve to rot here.

I understand your frustration. I feel it too. Four straight losses to quality teams but...I havent given up. We could very well win the rest of our league games, finish first in the East and play in the Championship Game and then represent CUSA in a good bowl game. Obviously, that's a tall order. However, it's very possible. We have proven we can play with the best. We just have to keep our heads up and drive forward. In some ways, it would have been nice to play patsies like some teams have and have a sparkling record only to be disappointed at the end of the season when we meet a quality opponent for the first time and get embarrassed on the field. This Topper team will be fired up and ready to steamroll the East. I hope!!!

As far as realignment goes and the possibility several teams bolt our league...meh.. we are WKU. We will be fine.
