I'm aware, far more than I wish to be. I could write a volume about the wasted opportunities of the last 25 years. League-wise, we're still trying to get back to where we were in 2005 (UL's last year in CUSA). Even with UAB's usual trials and errors, without interference we would have been in the AAC from the beginning.

We are trying to fast forward to a future that was stolen from us. That's a tough mountain to climb but I think we've given ourselves an outside chance. We have the school, the market, and now the facilities. Now we need to break through on the field.
