I noticed that Lola Foord wasn't at either match against UTEP? Anyone know the story?

...or why Mariska was pulled after the first set in yesterday's match and never returned. Could be simply a message sent by Genny, as she did the same to Anota a couple weeks ago after multiple consecutive poor outings. What's peculiar with Mariska's case is that she was fairly efficient (7 kills vs. 2 errors) in the Saturday match. So far this year, she has a nasty tendency to start off matches with several bad unforced attack errors before settling in.

Anyone know why we have no games scheduled for a full two weeks prior to the start of the conference tournament? I'm assuming this is the case for all CUSA teams. I can understand a week gap to allow for COVID rescheduling, but two weeks? If Genny cannot find a couple opponents to schedule we're at risk of getting quite rusty.

UTEP plays New Mexico State.
Southern Miss plays Clemson and Alabama State.
Few others have some midweek games.
