So the first 2 Grizz jerseys going into the rafters both have records. We don't need no stinking morality clause!

Yeah, when I saw that I had that Victrola Dog reaction, so I looked it up on Dictionary.com:

Bey: noun, plural beys.
1) a provincial governor in the Ottoman Empire.
2) (formerly) a title of respect for Turkish dignitaries.
3) (formerly) the title of the native ruler of Tunis or Tunisia.

I don't get it. He played overseas in Italy, not Turkey.

Pro tip for cheaters: If you are going to cheat insurance companies you should never do stuff like this:

Quote:Glen Davis, Anthony Wroten and Tony Allen, reportedly had root canals on the same six teeth on April 30, 2016, and crowns on the same six teeth on May 11, 2016. Wroten and Allen, each also reportedly also had root canals on the same 13 teeth on Sept. 6, 2018, and crowns on the same 12 teeth on Oct. 2, 2018.

One root canal a year is bad enough. 13 in one day, c'mon.

Last time I heard him on the radio (about a year ago) he referred to himself as Chris and not Supreme. (And, yes, he did refer to himself in the third person.)

But this is about claims going back to that period in his life, hence the AKA.

RE: CDR and Tony Allen arrested
Why would someone making $1 million plus a year need an extra $400 or $500 bucks?

Apparently the Terrance Williams guy set up the scheme, got personal info from players????

Likely Williams goes to jail and the other guys pay the money back or they go to jail.

Who knows.

07-coffee307-coffee3 ALL of them should serve some time in jail. There should always be consequences for crimes committed. It does not seem that many people get jail time for anything anymore. Riot's, looting, etc. etc. If you are going to do the crime then you should do the time.

3 points.

Tony has a possible way out. Several if's here but they are possible. Mr. Williams seems to have been running this. If at anytime Mr. Williams construed that he or his organization was legal and merely used aggressive claim tactics to get benefits the players where contractually entitled to; then Tony is guilty but probably no jail time will occur. The fact that Tony paid his portion back prior to being indicted seems to indicate that Tony was operating on what he felt where his legal obligations.

Agree on consequences. But I don't think time in Jail is always necessary. We have to be fiscally and societally smart/clever. Someone steals 2k just once, we need to make the victim whole, we need to punish the perpetrator, but spending 50k to protect 2k... i think the stigma of a guilty verdict and probation which at least temporarily reduces earning potential and creates a struggle to get ones life back to normal... that works for me.

I dunn wanna get into another political argument. But our legal and law enforcement citizens are some of the best people in the world. Given the money and time they have, they handle what needs to be handled. Proud of our prosecutors and police and deputies.

Calkins on the radio...
"Not that I'm condoning this, but..."
again with his passive-aggressive excuse making...
"rich people commit fraud all the time on taxes and such, and nobody bats an eye."
ummmm...Do you consider NBA players poor people?
I think Tony Allen made over $40M in his career.
