According to the indictment, the ex-players engaged in a widespread scheme to defraud the plan by submitting false and fraudulent claims to get reimbursed for medical and dental expenses that were never actually incurred.

The 18 players were among 19 individuals charged in the indictment. It said that the scheme was carried out from at least 2017 to 2020, when the plan received false claims totaling about $3.9 million. Of that, the defendants received about $2.5 million in fraudulent proceeds.

Williams is in pretty serious trouble. Some of the others it may depend on how much they defrauded the insurance.

No doubt. Just one season of league minimum pay would change the lives of 99% of the people in the world. Such a stupid thing for them to do. More beneficial than agents would be honest money managers teaching them how to set up for the long term.

Ike had the privilege of knowing a agent yrs ago, he was a good Dude who looked after his clients best interests
He gave them a monthly budget including housing, transportation, entertainment, allowance ect.
