NIU defense
Before today's game, I just want to give the defensive players and staff some praise. They have been holding teams to less points the last three games. They can give up all the yards (most of Toledo's yards were on three chunk plays) but the main stat I care about is points allowed.
They have held the last three teams to 20 points or less.
Good job Huskie defense!

Is it me or are they blitzing more in MAC play? Might be by design. Certainly the D has improved.

The adjustment they have made is to blitz and play tight man. When they got the lead against EMU. They went back to their soft zone and they took the lead.
