ND QB transferring
Notre Dame QB Brendan Clark declared he is transferring from ND. Rated a 3 star QB out of high school who had several offers from power 5 schools. I wonder if UT would reach out to him if allow to at this time ?

We need offensive linemen first, second, third, forth and fifth!

RE: ND QB transferring
Why would we want another QB. We have so many QBs on the team now. And it appears to me that they are not being coached up.

I’m assuming 1-2 transfer out next season. If ND guy comes to Toledo he’d basically be battling either Finn or Gleason for the starting spot. I’m for it.

It’s not like our two options this year are giving us any good feelings for next year…

This QB has had a couple bad injuries, including an ACl ( 2 surgeries on same knee) and has been dropped from a Backup last year to 4th string on depth chart behind a Wisconsin transfer and two QB's who have looked average in action this season. Clark was committed to Wake Forest prior to flipping to ND in 2019. Clark was a 3 * in 2019 rated at .87 and Carter Bradley in 2018 was rated a 3 * at .87. Just cause a player played at ND, OSU or UM doesn't mean they were higher rated than a UT player or a better prospect. Now if Cade Mcnamara decides to transfer from UM when he is passed by JJ McCarthy I would jump at that move,

I didn’t know about injury issues so yes I’d pass on him

I had also heard he over his injuries and appears ready to fight for a starting berth whoever he transfers to.

Plitt is done after this year. Ball State could go after him.
