The team is on the way down there now though. I'm sure they looked at the forecast and followed their preparation plan they used for Miami. Quite a few guys were cramping in Charlotte against ECU with the temperature in the low 80's and 70's but there weren't many issues with cramping against Miami where the low was in the Mid-80's with that Miami humidity.

For athletes I'm sure it's as much about how you prepare your body throughout the week than it is adjusting to how the air feels.

You da man! I’ll be anxious to hear about your thoughts on the game experience. Our AD is really trying to improve on it, but we got off to a rocky start.

And for just a bit of background I’ve got best friends who are lsu alum but also support ul. We all have season tickets for mbb and they like going to baseball games. Always wear red, but never an ‘official’ one, except for the ones I’ve bought them lol. Kinda drives me nuts as they have money to burn but I can’t say really complain as I sure AF don’t own a single purple shirt much less one with lsu on it lol

Whether App wins or losses tonight CCU still would need to beat App the next week to win the east (unless App drops a second conference game).

However, IF App wins tonight likely means the winner of the CCU@App game will determine who hosts the CCG.

That is why I assume CCU would pull for App tonight. How does a Cajun win improve your chances? An App team coming off a loss would seemingly be a worst case scenario. Further motivation and hurts your SOS as well.

From what we have seen so far, unfortunately I don’t really see how Cajuns win tonight. I don’t think our offense can score with App, our defense will give us a chance but will probably end up on the field too long

I know that this is a homer pick but there is no way ULL dominates us tonight. You couldn't dominate an FCS or South Alabama.

Anything can happen. Louisiana is a quality bunch and Napier really knows his stuff. Should be a good 'un. Regardless of who wins. the loser still has a path to the CCG.

ULL can beat anyone in the conference. That's why tonight is critical for home field in the CCG, I want it to be snowing in Boone when the Cajuns come to town.

Is there a reason this game was scheduled for a Tuesday night? I don't recall the last time I've ever heard of such a thing. I vaguely recall Wednesday being the day for a game before, and definitely Thursdays and Fridays, but not a Tuesday.

Is it because App State plays Coastal on Wednesday of next week and Coastal last played on Oct. 7th, effectively giving them 13 days to prepare for App State? So by playing Louisiana on Tuesday of this week, App State at least gives themselves 8 days to prepare for the same game?

By the same token, Louisiana's next opponent, Arkansas State, last played on Oct. 7th as well, giving them extra time to prepare for Louisiana. So maybe Louisiana likewise saw an opportunity to cut that advantage in preparation time down a bit by scheduling this game on a Tuesday?

There's usually a game on Wednesday, 1-2 games on Thursday, and 2 on Friday. I don't recall the last time I saw a college game played on a Tuesday, particularly when one of them was a good team like App State.

It's because that's when ESPN told us we'd play. They couldn't give a flying fudge about anyone's schedule. Ours, Apps, or (heaven forbid) CC's.
