I can see Manny Diaz as an obvious fit to replace Butch if he is let go from Miami.

If you want to see a program lose the rest of any interest...hire manny. Manny is not very popular in Miami nor the classrooms of Sweetwater.

Looks legit. Both Butch and our AD are on the final year of their contract and both have talked about retirement. He got the win against Miami and a few bowl games but it’s definitely time to move on.

I'm so disappointed in Butch Davis. I still have fond memories of him being Jimmy Johnson's DC for the Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl teams back in the 1990's. He was full of energy, and always had a lot of "get up and go". I guess his "get up and go", "got up and went"! LOL!

You can hire Nick Saban and it won't move a needle.
You have a culture problem and it will get worse with time when more people from south america keep moving to the states and attending your school. The way americans experience college is completely different for hispanics. You have 58K students plus all the alumni in the area and you can't fill 25% of the stadium. That's is discouraging to any player and staff.
I hope FIU can turn things around but I don't see how.
Maybe it is Pete Garcia that needs to go with Butch too.
