Pretty standard for UAB. A lot of dumb penalties that extend opposing team's drives and we tend to never fully take advantage of opportunities as they're given to us in a game.

Need to limit mistakes. FAU is moving the ball well. Slow start is behind us. No need to take it all back in the 3rd. Just move the ball, keep UAB's defense on the field.

Kind of goes both ways though. We had 61 yards of penalties at the half and basically all of them were 3rd/4th down extenders.

-4th and 7 - Pass interference (drive resulted in TD)

-3rd and 10 - roughing the passer
-3rd and 6 - pass interference (drive resulted in TD)

-3rd and 14 - roughing the passer (very nearly a TD drive)

Can't get out of our own way, but that pick six was a thing of beauty.
