Big game this Saturday
As much as the game at Toledo is a game that is circled on our calendars, we also have a huge game in DeKalb as the Men's Soccer team plays against 3rd ranked West Virginia.
As we know, the men's soccer team has been fantastic this year and they are in the top ten of nearly every NCAA Div. 1 team soccer statistic. Let's see if we can stretch our winning streak to 9 games and our opponents scoreless streak to seven.
Huskies! Come on you Huskies!

This is definitely a measuring stick game for the men's soccer team. WVU is ranked 3rd and Akron is ranked 26th (they played each other this weekend and tied 0-0) so these are the resume games needed when it comes time to select teams for the NCAA tournament.

And Bowling Green is ranked 17th. The MAC is Tough this year.

In the same poll, NIU is listed as 42nd of the Top 25 + 19 Also Receiving Votes.

Nice to see a successful NIU team get some recognition. Listing is through 9-26.

The MAC is tough every year. It’s been a top soccer league for a while.

It’s especially tough this year with the potential of playing three top-ranked teams in conference and NIU could be the fourth. That would be more than half the league.

Picked up one vote to two in rankings. West Virginia fell to fourth, BG fell to 30th and Akron at 29th. We are at 38th.
