Some of y'all weren't avid Tiger football fans in the 70's & 80's...and it shows

In those days I used to imagine Hell being made to watch the Tigers move the ball down the field to first and goal from the one only to end up with the other team recovering the ball in our end zone after a bad snap on fourth and goal from our own fifteen yard line. Over, and over and over.

You young folks have not been properly exposed to real Tigers football suffering.

I attended my first Tiger game in 1971.

1975 was my first Tiger game .... We've seen some really lean Tiger years for sure ...
02-13-banana02-13-banana Babies !!! My first Tiger game was 1954 Ha, Ha.

I’m sure most fans don’t want to see us slip too much relative to the heights we’ve attained recently.

You missed the point, namely, that mediocrity is just fine.

I agree. I didn't expect us to go undefeated, but the way we looked in the ASU and MSU wins gave enough reason to be concerned. And those concerns have led to some frustrating losses.

Asu is godawful and misstate was a miracle fluke.

This team needs the killer instinct. We’ve jumped out in front at least a couple times and couldn’t finish the job. The UTSA game could have been a blowout and ASU never should have gotten back in the game. The QB switch threw us off against the Red Wolves, but we should have been ready for that. Temple just sucks. Not sure what to say about that one. We better come ready to play for 60 minutes against Tulsa.

What killed us against AState was trying to sit on the ball in the 4thQ and run the clock out… We purposefully became 1 dimensional & easy to defend.

Tonight’s game will define our season.

I feel the same way. We have the chance to right the ship or the wheels might come off. I’m appalled at how bad UC drilled Temple. They are good, but I think Temple equally sucks. Not a good sign.

Oh please

So your style here is the fatiguing screed that anyone not whining constantly likes mediocrity

We see

Whining more is good and more importantly, your parenthetical point, is that incessant whining will of course cause changes that will improve the defense

Now we know

Lazy snark to be returned soon enough I am sure
