So I watched Oregon and Oregon State today
Oregon lost this game more than Stanford won it. Seconds before halftime Oregon goes for it on 4th down and gets stuffed. What I don't understand is why spread teams lack goal line packages. At least utilize a power pistol, diamond pistol or something. This specific play is ultimately the difference I'm the game. Hell, kick a fg there and you'll ultimately up by ten with two minutes to go in the game and the horrible officiating doesn't become a factor. I can understand how a Ducks fan can feel how they got screwed. I'd be upset as well. But poor clock management by Mario Cristobal allowed the refs to be a factor.

Onto Oregon State. They're actually a blast to watch. That running game with Finneck and Baylor is a terror for defenses especially behind that experienced OL. What bothered me with OSU is that they went away from the run in various spurts of the game. I understand you don't want to be too one dimensionsal, but Washington never truly had an answer for it. OSU should've never been in trouble and had to come from behind to win. In fact, they retook control of the game via the run game. At some point they will need Nolan to make throws to keep teams honest. Today wasn't that day.

Overall, it was fun watching my new local teams. I'm doubtful I'll ever openly root for either of them. I'll always be a Pitt fan at heart.
