RE: Raise your hand if you’re glad…
I despise them almost as much I do OM and Loserville.

But i am going to be rooting for them to run the table.

Based on all the team's schedules there is no legitimate way the playoff can keep a G5 school from the playoffs this year if UC runs the table.

They're 7th in the AP.

Oregon lost today which will move UC to at least 6th next week.

Penn St#3 and Iowa#4 play each other next week.

So that should get them to at least #5 next week.

Then you will have Bama#1 and Georgia#2 going head to head in SEC title game.

That will at least get them up to 4.

At least in the voting polls they will be top 4 if not top 3.

Of course, we do know that the committee will use computers to have them somewhere around 10th behind a number of 1 loss team when teh4 first playoff poll is released.

I don’t know if it is jealousy or hatred but I hope they lose every game

No. I would rather play teams like Cincinnati and lose bad than play cupcakes.

To go in and beat Notre Dame STRAIGHT UP AT THEIR CATHEDRAL, with basically the loser leave town match for the CFP, is nothing short of amazing.

We went into Jonesboro & did the same thing.

That’s not a fair comparison , I thought ASU was the Boise of the South - not the ND of the south?05-nono

When you get left out of the CFP with an undefeated record, let's see what he does.
He will be the hot name again.

Who knows how these things go, maybe Cincy Coach takes a job in the 3rd week of October... and we get lucky. And then we get really lucky.

It can happen.

If they win out there's no possible way to leave them out of playoffs.

They had Georgia beat last year until their coach went brain dead in the last series.

Got the first down and then for some reason decided to start throwing the ball.

Run three times after that first down and even if you didn't make another first down you make Georgia burn its time outs or run off seconds from the clock.

Against Georgia, Ridder had a receiver #12 wide open just beyond the 1st down marker and he threw the ball 30 yards downfield. Either hold the ball or throw the short pass.

That being said, if ND loses 2-3 more games & Cincy struggles with a conference game, they’ll be rationalized out of the playoff.

I dunno.
How many B12 teams not named Oklahoma have made the CFP?
And Okie is leaving.
Until the CFP expansion, the B12 likely won't have another team in (other then OU/UT while they're still around).
Once the expansion hits, then there is a path for all of us.

Of course there is. One very simple scenario. Bama and UGA run the tables and meet in the SEC champ. They both get in. Oklahoma runs the table - they get in. And the B10 champ (pick one) with no more than 1 loss gets in.

Or, Okie loses - very possible. Then you have 2 SEC teams and 2 B10 teams. Have you noticed all the B10 teams lurking from #3 to #11?

Cincy is currently ranked 5/6. And they've shot their wad. There is no other respected team left on their schedule. This is as high as they get.

He will call you crazy and say that “things changed”. He will probably do the same when Memphis gets left out again if/when there’s another round of expansion.
