NU, behind 2 goals from Jr. Adam McDonough, a goal from Soph. Sam Colangelo and an empty-netter from Jr. defenseman Jayden Struble, beat Bentley 4-0 in front of 4,208 at Matthews Arena.
Colangelo's goal was the 1st of his collegiate career and goalie Devon Levi made 29 saves for the shutout.
NU will play in the Ice Breaker Tournament against host Holy Cross and Quinnipiac at the DCU Center in Worcester next weekend.

Just got back from a wedding reception. I would rather have watched the game.

Sports Live offers the games on demand.
But a warning, the video and audio feed was atrocious. It was choppy and the audio was intermittent until halfway through the 2nd period before it was fixed. The Howlin' Huskies Productions was to blame, not CBS Sports.

I'll see if it's on demand tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing a healthy Colangelo. Any thoughts?

I looked already, It's on-demand, but it's bad video into the 2nd period.
Colangelo got off to a great start. After not scoring a goal coming back the World Juniors it was great to see. I expect him to put up the numbers we all expected.
Levi is as good as advertised and having a solid defense in front will make it better.
The crowd was outstanding! The upper-level was jammed packed just like the Michigan State hoops game. Let's hope it can continue.
Looking forward to next week.
