The paragraph has been removed with no explanation or note. AL dot com is beyond horrible.

Charles Hollis is literally the only person I know of who has even suggested this. Is this guy just stating an opinion or does he have any credible source to back it up. If our administration was working against our best interest at this point, I think Clark and AK would both walk. Clark stuck with us through the shut down and im pretty sure once we came back he was told we have top down support now. AK was probably told something similar.

Second mention of UAB dropping the AAC ball by Hollis in about a week. He's getting that notion from somewhere and I doubt it's his imagination.
Now where is this quote in the article?
Someone said it was removed. Never saw it either.

It was there the first time I read it. Someone made a threatening phone call.

It's Charles Hollis.

Thanks. I damn sure didn't make it up. While I find moving to the AAC appealing, "sexy" doesn't really come to mind.

Seriously the retraction is puzzling. The editor should have caught if it was just some off the cuff statement but he let it through. So again someone outside of al.com had to make a strong suggestion to remove that quote or else.

What editor? They don’t have editors.

Further, Freeze coming back to Alabama — on the week Ole Miss is in Alabama, no less — and Malik Willis coming back to Alabama are tremendous college football stories. They should get a little more depth than the intro to a stupid picks column.

Just atrocious …
