Not gonna lie I was shocked by the crowd at the CSU game. Really expected the South Carolina crowd to be larger and the CSU crowd to be smaller.

Pirate fans are hungry and eager to get back to some winning ways. Marshall win woke the fan base up. String a few wins together and the Fick will be packed in no time.

I was at the Marshall game. I hadn't been to a game in person since the USF game a couple years ago where Snead ran back the opening kick for a TD, and then we got our brains beat in.

Most of my absence has been due to geography and a couple kids (2 & 5 years old)... but SOME of it has been due to apathy. We have just sucked, and while I will watch the games on TV, I can't justify leaving my wife and kids home while I go do a guy's weekend in Greenville to watch us get blown out.

I will say that from 2002-2016, I missed maybe 2 home games... and I went to every bowl game, and lots of away games.

HOWEVER...

The Marshall game was the first game in several years where I felt like myself again when it comes to ECU football. I lost my voice in that stadium... I was acting like an idiot jumping up and down high fiving and hugging anyone who wanted to. I maybe had a bit too much to drink... but I'll be damned if THAT trip to Marshall didn't rejuvenate my passion for ECU football. What. A. Game.

Winning is fun. Go Pirates.

Didn't miss a game from 2009 season until after the NC state game in 2016.

Then work got in the way. Haven't been to a game in 5 years now.....always something with work.

Edit: game at Dowdy. I've been to some away games thanks to Smu and Houston.

Homecoming, good weather and a make or break game I’m guessing 42k-45k.

It will be interesting to see how UAB stacks up this season since someone brought up CUSA. UAB has not had a home game yet and is less than 4,000 from a sellout for their home opener according to reports yesterday. Capacity is 45,000. Our worst attended game will be UTEP at the end of the season on a Friday after Thanksgiving but I'll be surprised if UAB doesn't lead CUSA again this season by a good margin.

From dead in the water to fixin' to play before a sellout crowd in a brand new home stadium.

Hard to love College Football and not be happy for the resurrection of UAB's program.

I don't see where the attendance data is on this chart but, if our 2 game attendance were:

Florida at USF 64,692
Florida AM at USF. 29,475

Then their account is way off. I'm guessing they are off.

I'm not sure if throwing hade was this posters intent but, throwing shade seems to be a prerequisite for posts now a days on this board and of course USF can't have better attendance then those P5 teams. 07-coffee3
