This basically sums up what UAB will need to do defensively against Liberty:

Quote:It’ll be imperative for an aggressive UAB defense to maintain discipline in forcing Willis to make his own mistakes, whether in the passing game or on the ground.

“Obviously, he can run and he can throw too,” safety Damon Miller said. “We’re just going to try and keep him in the pocket, contain him, and play hard and tackle.”

Not just to pile on to Evan, but I am curious about our "25-year residency" at Legion Field he mentions. Where does he think we were playing the other 5 years?

What about this little doozy:

Quote:The Blazers (3-1, 1-0 C-USA) have found unprecedented since returning from a two-year hiatus, winning three straight division titles and two of the last three C-USA championships, but commence a new era, Saturday, Oct. 2, with the grand-opening of Protective Stadium in Birmingham.

Has found unprecedented what? I'm sure he meant success but this is the freaking 2nd paragraph of the article. Do they not have proofreading tools in place at al.com?

That entire thing made my head hurt.

Evan has no one editing him and no one over there cares enough to help him get better.

Evan has no one editing him and no one over there cares enough to help him get better.

Example: "The idea for what would become Protective Stadium was discussed for decades, ranging from an on-campus open-air edifice to a domed stadium also capable of luring a professional franchise, but it became a reality almost four years ago when financial resolutions were passed in early 2018 and an official grounding breaking ceremony was held in December of that year.

Anybody want to diagram that one?
