Typical from their fan base.
They think they are bigger than this game and they are a sleeping giant in the making.
They only see Miami as their rival. We all know Miami does not see it that way.
Let's see how the game goes on saturday. FAU is favored to win on paper and history.
Not sure if FIU loses this game; Butch will be fired.
If FAU loses it, I am ready to eat some crow.
Florida Atlantic 31 • FIU 17

BTW, FAU leads the series 14 to 5

We are bigger than this game. You can tell by how much FAU cares. And it’s not that I don’t get it, I do. You’re a fan of a crappy school in some no-name retirement community who got all excited about two good years with a coach who bolted at the first chance he got. FAU isn’t winning this game and even if they did it wouldn’t matter cause you all still suck. LOL at talk of the American...you are only even in CUSA cause FIU allowed it.

If out of all of that...that’s what you object to than I guess we agree on more than I would’ve assumed. FIU has a number of 8-9 win seasons where FAU had two 11-win seasons. It’s really not a material difference. You all always try to make it sound like you’re the next UCF without taking into account that that you’re not a large market school, enrollment is average and your attendance is just as **** as FIU.

a crappy stadium, crappy school, a fanbase we can count with our fingers, not sure how many years behind FAU in recruiting, in conference titles, in bowl championships and FAU leading these series 14 to 5.
Are you drunk man?

You are seriously laughing at our attendance?
Our attendance ALWAYS has been WAY better than yours. Are you blind? or don't know how to count?
FAU has 30K students, you have 58K and FIU does not even average what we average.

14-5 (includes year you cheated)
5 winless seeasons (3 seasons 10 wins vacated by NCAA for cheating)
1 "1" win season
FIRED your best coach now coaching #3 team in country
Not sure what your definition of BIG is, but it is comical.
We do care about this game, and its ok you don't but you look foolish diminishing it with the results you have had!

The game is played under a set of rules, one of their 5 "victories" was vacated. Their series record is so dismal I give them credit for the year they had to cheat in order to win.

Looks like this rivalry game matters to both sides (even if they don’t want to admit it).

Wait, this is not a "rivalry" game thread. it is just a game thread. I've created one for us every week this year. If no other facts mean anything to you, let's just make sure you understand that.

Well, rivalry or not, we need the "W". And, I am sure, so do they. If they lose this one, they may as well start the season 1-7.

DO you have any idea how pathetic you sound.

14-5

Facts. What’s pathetic is that you downvoted me for posting smack on a “rivalry” game thread.

Don’t be retarded. You mentioned this was a rivalry game on another thread and titled this by the name of the supposed rivalry game.
