These delightful posters continue to be the most enjoyable part of this season. Would love to have the series printed.
Idk about most enjoyable. The second half of the Buffalo game was enjoyable. I agree they are awesome and would look good printed and framed movie poster style.

I have this hanging in my office. After a year the VT guys would ask when I was going to take it down. It's still there although I have been working from home for a year and a half.

Haha nice. My boss is a big VT alumni and donor. He'd just laugh if I hung that up.
On offense the Miners run a pass oriented spread that averages 10.3 yards per completion.
The QB, 6'3", 205 lb Gavin Hardison is a solid passer, but not exceptional. He is no threat to run. He has 5 INTs on the season, but 3 of those were in the Boise St blowout. His primary target is 5'11" WR Jacob Cowing, who accounts for half of UTEP's total passing yardage this season. Hopefully we have an answer for him or it will be a long night.
On the ground UTEP relies on 6' 205 lb RB Ron Awatt. He is averaging a respectable 4.9 yards per carry, but I am not as concerned about their rushing game.
On defense the Miners run a 4-2-5 that so far this season has been a bit more effective vs the run. They do have a couple of DBs that are over 6' but Kuntz should still be able to go up for the ball.
The Miners have 8 sacks in 4 games, 6 of which were against Bethune-Cookman and New Mexico State.
UTEP is 8-10 on FGs
ODU was the better team vs Buffalo. We were better in the trenches on both sides of the ball, and UTEP is no Buffalo.
Having said that, our secondary will be tested. We have to stop the Hardison/Cowing combination. Pressure on the QB is a must,
At the same time, we have to be able to pass on offense to keep their defense honest, even if it is just quick dumps over the middle to RBs. Slants and quick outs to the TEs/WRs would really enhance our offense.
Mack's running ability will likely play a big part as well.
IF we play a smart and controlled game, we will win this one, even on the road.
This is my first prediction of a win this season.

Offensively, they are a lot like Buffalo in that they want to run the ball a ton. They've run 166 times to 98 passes. However, they're passing game is probably better than Buffalo, especially in the sense of getting the ball downfield. However, the QB is not very accurate and turnover prone as opposed to the Buffalo QB that got rid of the ball quickly with mostly safe passes. I think the defense will have a similar gameplan.
There defense does not look to be as good as Buffalo so hopefully we get out of the gate quicker.
Playing all the way out at UTEP at 9 at night seems to have always had a negative impact on us though.
I would say it's a toss up. The team needs to prove it is what it did in the 2nd half vs. Buffalo.
UTEP is probably the worst team on our schedule. But playing in El Paso at 9pm might hurt us. I expect a close game, and hopefully a win. ODU 28-UTEP 24

If i am not wrong that UTEP team had Aaron Jones playing for it. They have two good backs and one WR that their QB frequently targets in Cowing. If our defense brings their A game then i would more than feel confident we will come away with a win but again we are very young and prone to mistakes as we have witnessed so anything is possible playing at their place.
