I do not have a prediction for this game. My head says that the EMUs will win because of our weak defense but my heart says that NIU will be able to outscore them and win on a long field goal with seconds to go in a high scoring game.

For some reason the Ds seems to get it together, and mistakes plague both teams. Maybe it gets to be super windy, or, some rain comes through. Lower scoring, that's my prediction!

Rain gives the advantage to the running game… Unless they fumble.

As usual, line play will determine who wins this game. Who's D-line in particular.

The NIU can win this game if the comes out aggressively and doesn't turn the ball over. The key to most of NIU's games is penalties and turn overs. We seem to have both. But, in the end, I think NIU wins this by 4, covering the spread and setting themselves up for the next game.

I'd like to see us have no turnovers on offense (would be a first in a game this year) and if we win the coin toss we should elect to receive the ball first. Putting our defense on the field just to give up a first drive touchdown already puts pressure on us. Let's get the ball first, score, and take some pressure off our defense.
