I think our offense will do well. Just need to keep EMU guessing. Keep letting Rocky run, don’t be afraid to stretch the field passing and off course give the RBs plenty of touches. Just don’t get one dimensional and don’t play conservative.

Defense I have little faith in still (hope I am wrong and they build on the Maine 2nd half). I think if we can hold them out of the end zone the 1st 2 drives we win. ‘Settle in’… without giving up multiple TDs haha

Tewes has been a nice addition to the line up. I had been calling him Toose as in 2’s. Thanks the the announcer clueing me in that it’s Tayvis.

Yes, we are favored by 2/3, so not sure why he believes “good to be the underdog.”

We need 42+to win. Our defense is lame.

Interesting that the Co-Offensive Players of the Week are matching up Saturday.

I think we pull this one out because of our rushing attack.

Maybe we were waiting to show our competent defensive scheme until league play. Or maybe the coaches learned something. Or maybe we just have the slightly better offense.

I’m doubling down on this being the biggest game of the season. Watching WMU vs Buffalo and just do not think NIU can lose this game if they want to be playing meaningful conference games late season. Anything can happen in the MAC but NIU’s conference schedule is tough. With a loss to EMU I am not seeing a reasonable path to 6 wins and a potential bowl either. Let’s go get this one!!

Agree... This is a big. Gives us a good read on Hammock's progress and the progress of the program.

We always seem to have the tougher crossover games. We seem to play BG, Buffalo, and Ohio more than we play Akron, Kent State, and Miami.

I know I’m over valuing one game, but yes, this game feels like the table setter for this staff and team. Bad today = bad this year. Good today = good opportunity this year.
