I know it's a football season and I can't wait for the kickoff for this saturday afternoon. Some how, this morning, I can't stop thinking about our basketball team and what Penny had pulled off in recruiting this season. Enjoy the ride Tiger fans.

I think they will put us outside the top 10.

I didn't see us in front of Michigan as much as the pundits have been raving about Michigan's class. Purdue/Texas came out of no where. It will be fun to see how everything plays out on the floor.

We play a likely top 25 team, Virginia Tech on November 24 so even if we start outside the top 10 we can move up with a win. December is apparently Memphis vs. the SEC, 2 road games against Georgia and Ole Miss, a home game against Alabama and UTK in Nashville. If we enter January undefeated then we will be in the 2 to 3 range.

I agree. If this year blows up (would be his first bust), does that remove hope for the future under Penny? Penny is connected and has shown he can recruit at the highest level. As long as you can do that, you have a job (cough cough Calipari).

Its not pressure if you have those expectations of yourself. Its how you view expectations that determines if its pressure. Some people thrive on the competitive nature of what they do. I think that describes Penny.
