Excited to see this team hopefully open up the offense. We have too many good receivers to not be using them.

I'd also like to see the defense force some turnovers. Like last year we are struggling to gain turnovers on defense. After 3 games we have two fumble recoveries and zero INTs. There's only 10 teams with less total turnovers gained than us.

Go Huskies!

Thanks for starting today's game thread, I am looking forward to watching the game in Central Ohio and hoping to see improvement from the defense. If not, it is going to be difficult to be competitive in MAC play.

I am hoping that the online radio broadcast from the Huskie app is reasonably in synch with the ESPN+ app. If so I plan to listen to Baker/Lindo and Garcia rather than the ESPN "C" team.

This will be a good game to get the D strategy in order before starting MAC play. The D cannot be as porous as it was for the last two games, or the season will be another disaster.

Hopefully the team has moved on from the Michigan debacle and the coaches get their act together.

Looking more forward to this one than I ordinarily would be against an FCS team--have to see the response after last week.

The ultimate Get Right spot before MAC play. Cover the 21.

We just moved to Lexington, a suburb of Columbia, where daughter works. Her and spouse live in Charleston, so if she needs a respite to the daily long drive she can stay with us for a night or two. Great craft beer available in SC especially in the Mount Pleasant/North Charleston area.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Georgia up big on Vanderbilt after one quarter. Just goes to show even SEC teams with far more money and resources than us get smashed in competition.

Can’t be at the game because I’m still recuperating from my surgery. But, I’m excited because the game will be on channel 791 on DirecTV! Not sure if you need the Sports Pack, but I have it on Channel 791. There are a bunch of college games on the ESPN Extra channels. No need to watch ESPN3 on my computer today!

I just sent my wife out to buy a couple packages of hot dogs and buns.

NIU defense: Can’t rush the passer, can’t stop the run, can’t cover the short pass, can’t cover the deep pass, can’t create turnovers…

I’ll go to a bar, eat, drink, and watch the game. Better than holding a phone all game.

Thanks, BC! Recovery is going nicely. I may make the game next week. If not, then the one after for sure. My recovery was going slowly until my wife started hand feeding me hot dogs. Then the recovery started really speeding up. STF needs to realize the recuperative powers of hot dogs and keep those suckers in stock!

If you have a DVR (or similar) you can use this little trick.

FYI - This game is on ESPN3 not ESPN+ unless something changed.

Game is live, in color and HD on DirecTV. Even if I have an old 1955 Admiral B&W TV.

Looks like a very small crowd.
