The next pandemic
Personally I think Covid is just the start of a serious waves of pandemics. Perhaps just a hunch and feeling, and not totally scientific in nature. I won't accuse every bug out there to be man-made, but man's effect on nature is a reason for this. We're destroying habitats and coming in closer contact with animals than ever before. Not to mention that modern medicine is causing viruses and bacteria to mutate and become even deadlier than before. Ebola can become airborne and cause complete havoc.
Bacteria bugs scare me the most. I envision a bubonic plague on steroids killing at least 1/2 of the people it comes in to contact with. It'll be resistant to antibiotics and no modern vaccine works for it. An airborne pneumonia could be as equally as dangerous. Watch out for gonorrhea as well, as it has become resistant to antibiotics.
Bird flus from India are becoming more and more common. They have a higher mortality rate than the common flu.
Merg bug in Eastern Africa is a fear. It has such a high mortality rate that the host usually dies before having a chance to pass the bug to another human. I saw a stat that had 4000 contractions and 3500 deaths. This bug likely has the potential to develop more contagious strains that can potentially be a pandemic, someday.
There's also a slew of novel bugs that's been trapped in the tundras of Russia, Alaska and Canada. China recently did a study on one of them. The more the tundras melt, the more likely one of these bugs gets transmitted to humans and boom.
Man-made bugs are also a fear. These mothafuckin scientists in Wuhan are sick b*stards.
If we were to look at bugs like hurricanes, Covid is a Cat 1, Merg can be a Cat 3 or 4, and a plague can be a Cat 5. The reality is, the conditions are ripe for a novel super bug. It's just a matter of when, not if. Covid exposed this. Bacteria based bugs, imo, pose the greatest risk, and the next plague is around the corner.

Same, I consider it a healthy fear. I'm not losing sleep over any of this.

I just want to die peacefully in my sleep or instantly by a falling piano landing on me or some such weird crap. If I can just do that then everyone else is on their own.

That second option doesn't sound to bad. TigerBlue died after a plane tragically pushed his head through his ******* sounds a lot better than died in his sleep

Antibiotic resistant bacteria are a real threat. All of our medicine and our miraculous surgeries are based on having antibiotics. Things like heart disease and cancer would become much more deadly.

I want to die from being shot in the back running away from a jealous husband when I’m 90 years old.

The only women that would go out with a 90 year old man usually don't have husbands and if they do I doubt that they would care/or know what their wives are doing because they probably are like The SOB, senile.

You just explained what is happening to Covid presently. The "vaccines" are causing new strains to develop. The human body was built to adapt to viruses. They are everywhere. This one just happened to be a weaponized virus. Anyone thinking the Chinese and other bad actors in the world aren't working on the next one doesn't realize it is nearly 2022. We ARE in the future.

RE: The next pandemic
How many different the world is ending due to a virus magazine covers can Time Magazine run in 2 decades? I’m sure they will run new ones.
Difference is now a lot of people are conditioned to run screaming. BFD. We’ll live. Or not. So it goes.

LOL, it sure would make for a better story. Some people I know might consider that a positive result as they seem to think I have my head up my ass already.
