Road 6-4 with Wins against S. Alabama, Ark. State and UL Monroe.

We are a very solid home team...Waaaaay better than we are on the road.

Do most FBS teams have winning % on the road AND undefeated at home?
Asking for a friend - I'll hang up and listen.

You just like to be contrary...

It is just a stat...Not a negative. We are a very good home team...

The post right above yours I posted we were 5-0 at home against P5 which was outstanding...

2015 Beat Kansas and ole miss...lost to Auburn

6-3 in regular season. 0-3 in bowl games.

Most of those losses were bowl games

Half. Not most.

A reminder, to those who think the 6-5 Stobart teams were better because of the schedule.

Well? They were. Just because there weren't 10,000 bowls back then.... etc... you know the drill.

It's hard to compare eras, but I agree with you. The Stobart teams had lots of talent.

Our 1992 team was really good. Lost 5 games by a total of about 21 points. Could have easily been 9-2.

At least Stobart had some winning seasons unlike the guy that followed him.

6-3 in regular season. 0-3 in bowl games.

Two of those losses were right after losing head coaches as well...

Two of those wins were against Kansas

You are the contrarian.
Whenever anyone starts showing pride on here - actual fandom - you pop up to put some negative spin.
You had 2 posts in this thread, and in both you were trying to make a point that we struggle on the road.
So, yeah, I can be contrary with contrarians.
BTW, you never answered the question...Are most FBS schools above .500 on the road AND undefeated at home?

I don't want to disparage any Tigers teams. Heck, back then, I was just glad to win more than we lost - even if barely. And I enjoyed the heck out of beating Arky, Old Miss, and MissStake even if they were down.

We look back at those schedules and it's easy to get "old man syndrome" and think those were better days. But the truth is, we didn't really beat many good teams back then. Some had "the names". But they were down. During that 1992-94 stretch of 6-5 seasons - the entire 3 years - I think we only beat 2 teams with winning records (and they were 6-win teams). During these same 3 years, we only lost to 2 teams with losing records. Stobart was good at beating who we were supposed to, but not pulling the upsets. That was his conservative style of football.

Enjoy these years. This is the best the program has ever been for a sustained period.
