Fire Frazier? He is the one who hired Hammock and based upon the posts
on here, everyone is in love with Hammock. So if you fire Frazier the odds are
the new guy would want to hire his guy to be the head coach. That is how
it works usually.....so careful what some of you wish for if you love Hammock.

Yeah…I mean the guy is in over his head. He was demoted from co-d coordinator at Syracuse to D line coach. Syracuse for goodness sake.

Maybe the only guy Hammock could find for his staff though. The fact is Jackson makes really weird mistakes and I can’t quite figure out why he is doing what he is.

RE: FIRE SEAN T. FRAZIER
The thing with Frazier I find most frustrating is the lack of focus on fan/community engagement. I was really hoping that the school would seize on opportunities created by an Orange Bowl appearance, a Heisman Trophy finalist, multiple conference championships and perennial bowl appearances. Not that I expected a move to the Big 12 or anything...but good god, use nearly a decade's worth of dominance to at least create some local excitement around the team to fill the stadium. His tenure so far just feels like missed opportunities and empty promises.

Realistically though, Frazier's probably going to stay as long as he wants.

While this does not absolve him totally, more should have been done in 2014 understand the support people that made the department are gone. Moved on the bigger, better jobs. Soon after

One can argue that it's his job to replace them. But then people shouldn't state in one breath that budget, student shortfall leading to department shortfall is an issue. Can't run a program on low paying jobs and interns and produce a miracle.

Oh I'm sure you can't blame it all on him. There's plenty you can blame him for, though.

Not sure how much Frazier can fix this issue. Many teams are having problems with their concessions due to lack of workers. Yesterday the Oklahoma AD tweeted out basically the same thing as Frazier did last week.

Can we bring in hot dogs? If so, I’d stuff my pants.

You cannot bring in any food, but they are supposed to have additional concession stands.

Another problem is drivers. Been to several stores where I usually shop to find some empty or sparse shelves. Several cashiera told me they had everything at the warehouse but haven't been able to get enough drivers to go around to all the stores on their usual routes.

This is hitting retail and industrial industries hard. For me and many of my friends, you have a shortage of truckers to run short haul routes from DC to retail, or distributor to DC. The handful of truckers out there, are only picking up long haul routes, to get the most money for their time.

I wasn't sure where to post this, I don’t recall seeing this posted and it wouldn't seem to warrant a new thread – I just received an email with the kickoff time for the October 2nd EMU homecoming game also being changed to 1:30. Its on the schedule in the Athletics website: https://niuhuskies.com/sports/football/schedule

Hopefully, fans don't get confused.

At least they moved the game back, so fans don't show up 1 hour into the game expecting the game to just be starting.

That was to be expected. If Monty got an extension, I assumed STF would, too. It was the easiest and cheapest thing to do. Plus, it fits in nicely with the university's diversity mission.

Here's to more years of mediocrity at best. NIU need not wonder why it's losing fans.

Oh well. At least we will continue have the Diversity leadership to hang our hats on. Facility improvements, actual fan interaction, MAC championships, etc. not so much.

I wonder if he got a new golf cart as part of the deal? I hope he stays in his cart so I won't hit him when I drive into my parking space.

RE: FIRE SEAN T. FRAZIER
Wow! I feel like I just got a gut punch!

STF has done NOTHING to deserve any contract extension. Why do that????? I have said he is "horrible." ok, that may be an over statement made in frustration. But at best he is ok. Does ok warrant an early extension WITH A PROMOTION???? NO! My answer is NO! Emphatically!

What the hell has he done to warrant that?????????????

Now I am getting over the gut punch and just getting mad!

Why the hell should I care? They (the powers that be) obviously don't!
