Not saying he won't but not kicking off and not being able to make FGs beyond 50 yards I don't think will have him making a Sunday NFL game day roster.

maybe, JUST maybe, there's some mechanical trick that can get him another 15 yards. If so, then sure, give him a look. But these guys get so much coaching now, I really doubt there are any 15-yard tricks that he hasn't learned already. I'd love to see it, but it's just doubtful.

Also, let's remember that there aren't any moneyball-type NFL teams. Coaches don't like kickers, and are always looking for a reason to weed them out. "can't kick off? fuggetaboutit."

I think Ratke said he hasn't kicked off since he was backing up Tyler Gray his freshman year.

There are actually a number of punters who have handled kickoffs. Pat macaffee was the kick off man for the colts for a number of years.

By my reckoning he needs only 9 points tomorrow to break the all time div 1 scoring record. Here’s hoping he gets it with only one field goal. Go Dukes!
