Good game Cardinals. It was entertaining.

This year VT has a throwback Big East schedule, playing WVU, Pitt, Cuse, BC and Miami. 04-cheers

Congrats Cards. Hard fought game. You played well enough to win. Good luck with the rest of the season.

Great ending! Louisville looked like vintage Northern Illinois out there. I thought I saw Garrett Wolfe making moves!

My heart barely made it but boy that was a great start to the weekend. If my club has to play on a Friday, love getting the W in hand and sitting back and enjoying the good slate of games tomorrow.

Honestly I expected to be home by halftime.

After that first touchdown I thought the blow out was starting. Then UCF went away from the pass and started running the football and that changed the ball game.

I hope UCF wins the rest of their games.

I wanted to share this here. This is Paul Rogers on the Cardinal Sports Network Radio broadcast. This guy has called Louisville games for 30 years. He’s done multiple Final Fours, National Championship games in women’s and men basketball, an Orange Bowl and a Sugar Bowl. I don’t think he’s ever been this excited.

First half, so far Miami and BC taking care of business, VT and Pitt both trailing by 2 scores... 03-banghead

Pickett fumbled and got the wind knocked out of him. He was out for a couple of series. He is back now and just lead a good touchdown drive. The defense doesn't look all that interested. Hopefully Duzz kicks them into gear.

Pitt ties the game and gets off the field. First snap results in a fumble and now WMU is up 7 again. 03-banghead

And Pickett follows that with his first INT. 3 turnovers will get you beat. 03-puke

Difference between upsetting a good team and being a good team is often just being able to play hard against teams you don't care about playing.

Hokies miss a field goal at the end of the 2nd quarter. Down 24-7.

VT needs a big second half adjustment. Losing to WVU is not fun.

As bad a half of football as we have played in a while and we are still tied 27-27. If we clean it up we should be fine in the second half.

AGREED.

Look, I want to sweep the 'Eers this and every time the Hokies play them... that said, the important game is next year, because it comes with long-lasting bragging rights.

Yep. Fortunately the D stepped up in the second quarter. They pushed them back with a sack and some good defensive stands.
