Moore had 147 rushing yards and 67 receiving yards in a little over 3 quarters of action. A great way to jump start his junior campaign.

My goodness that guy is good. Did you all know he was going to be this good when he was coming in as a recruit?

Was he highly sought after?

Moore was not highly recruited. If not Tulane, he might have gone to SMU. LSU wanted him to walk on.

He was recruited by Tulane, LSU, Southern Miss and SMU. LSU offered him a TOPS scholarship so it was really down to Tulane and SMU. We actually didn't have place for him but a DT decommited and went to Texas A&M where he is now a starter leaving a late opening fot Moore.

Also he was drafted in the 4th round by the Padres and plays for them in the summer.

LSU offering him a TOPS scholarship=telling him he'd have to walk on. LSU is always only interested in "established name" high school players and never interested in lesser known players. Remember, this is the school who told Marshall Faulk he'd have to play DB.

I've never seen him in action, but looking at his stats the last 2 years, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> wow! He is a monster tailback.

you'll be able to see him on Sundays soon enough. He reminds many of Marhsall Faulk and Robert Smith.
