RE: The SEC has elected to not cap education benefits
For context, individual conferences can legally cap education benefits on top of GIA provided it's "not pursuant to an agreement with any other conference."
Also, this no longer applies to just basketball and football players because the NCAA has since ceased to cap education benefits to other DI athletes.
