BTW, if anyone needs an excuse to drink, my family and I, and hopefully a few other CSU fans, will be going to Inside the Five Perrysburg tomorrow afternoon from 3-430. Always love to hit up a brewery when we travel.

Perrysburg, ~snicker~
If you're gonna slum way out there, I'd be remiss not to suggest the other side of the river. Straight shot to the Mud Hens game and better environment.

I take it you folks are staying out that way? We don't have mountains but just across the river from you is Farnsworth or Providence Metro Park. This is OUR Frontier scenery. A nice Sat morning walk.

Hit Earnest Brew Works or Maumee Bay instead...I've never been a fan of Inside the Five's brews, despite their cool environment and decent food.

I live just down the road. Post a review, I haven’t been there yet. And if you’re in Perrysburg, the downtown is pretty nice. Lots of War of 1812 history including Commodore Perry’s landing site after the Lake Erie battle and Fort Meigs, which has a great visitor’s center and a recreation of the original fort. The Toledo Museum of Art is one of the best should you decide to go highbrow.

Sometimes I wonder if we tell people to go to our Art Museum just because we know they'll be surprised a museum like that is in Toledo or because it's really, really good? I've been to enough of the world level museums to consider ours stacks us really nicely. I do wish we had a medieval armor/weapons room though.

We kind of have the perfect space for that too in that one area that I believe was modeled after a specific monastery courtyard. People really don't think of armor/weaponsmithing as an artform, but my god are some of the medieval and pre-dark ages weapons and armor absolutely beautiful.
I'd also add to check out the Toledo Zoo...consistently rated in the Top 5 in the US.

We are in an Airbnb near campus. Walking distance. The reason we are going to Perrysburg and the reason we picked Inside the Five is that the alumni association event is at the Hilton Gardens. It5 is close to it. The space does look pretty cool.
My wife and I love museums and we will see if we have time for it.
Going to go to Stubborns and then bounce around Lot 10 and the Alumni Pavilion after.

Replied on the CSU board. Going to park, then hit up Stubborns, then go streaking through the quad. Everyone's doing it. I mean go through Lot 10. Will look for you.

Enjoy your time. Watch out for the squirrel under the Ottawa River Bridge. He/she likes dangly things. Be interested in how our campus stacks up with others you've seen?

CSU's offense was fun to watch. They were pulling everything out of the youtube clips. Not the best clock management but a fair win. Congrats. Hope the CSU people enjoyed their visit.
Am I a rube for getting tickled that people/teams/bands come from Colo, Utah, to play in our stadium?

Thank you all for the suggestions and it was great to meet all the cheers and the cheers parents. You were so welcoming and made the trip one of my favorites we have attended. Also, the beer guys near section 26 were the best ever. $6.50 for a beer?!? So cheap for stadium beers. Food at Stubborns was great. Seriously, thank you all. Shocked we won.

sshhhhHHHHHHHHH!!!!
newbies. smh.
It's a completely different economy here. Actually has us worried, the inflation to catch up will devastate a lot of people. But don't think of that next time you want to say THE BEER IS CHEAP. Beer might be all we have to forget. sigh
Safe travels.

Yeah, the inflation will catch up due to Trump's stupid $2T tax cut for the super wealthy.
