Oof. In all seriousness, how does a coach recover from a loss like that? I get that he has a lot of rebuilding to do, but he's getting good athletes and has had some time to get his system in place. I know he needs more time to compete against good competition, but he should have enough time and players under his belt there to not lose to Jacksonville State. That has to get the attention of recruits, what do you tell the 5 stars? "Well, don't expect to come here to compete for a national title or probably even a conference title, but by the time you leave we'll dominate any FCS schools we schedule!"

I like Norvell and I feel like he left the program in good shape for Silverfield to take over. I want him to be successful, but I have to think that this loss is going to be the beginning of the end for his tenure there unless he can right the ship immediately.

Fuente recovered from a loss to UT Martin but our expectations weren't what Florida State's are right now

Willie was yanked before he could even exhale. Norvell can at least say he got a fair shot if things don't work out....
