Maybe the QB's aren't great but the scheme they're asked to run is bad. Need to move on to something that makes more sense.

It would have to be something that involves no scrambling and no passing.

The Wild Owl has been tried too many times. It doesn’t work either.

Yeah, this is the issue. Rice has a talent deficit against most teams it plays against. For the secondary to thrive, it needs an effective pass rush. Tune has all the time in the world to throw whether it's a 4 man rush or 7 man rush. The secondary hasn't been good, but it's always going to get cooked when the line can't cause confusion.
