Tigers vs Moo St By The Numbers
Saturday Memphis International will have to divert air traffic away from the liberty bowl due to the air being filled with projectiles.

The dogs will wake up in the morning throwing the ball and continue to do so until they lay their heads on their pillow later that night.

Miss St averages 48 passes per game spreading them out between 9 receivers. For over 332 yards per game in a 9.2 yards per catch average.

They have 5 guys who average over 40 yards per game receiving. With two who average over 50 yards per game.

However, they are very one-dimensional averaging only 17 rushes per game for 43 yards per game.

Their QB has -23 yards rushing per game. So he doesn't seem to be a threat to run.

The game could come down to which team is able to make a stop at a critical time.

Tigers must improve their first down defense and keep the dogs in 3rd and long. Where they convert only 23% of their 3rd downs.

State also seems to be a heavily penalized team averaging 78 penalty yards per game. But do not rely on this continuing as teams get more games under their belt.

After scoring the Tigers must tighten up kick-off coverage or Miss St will start their possession deep in Tigers territory.

If the Tigers line can hold up they should be able to put points on the board.

The question should be if the defense will come to play and slow down the puppies.

Need to hit them on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper early and keep them off balanced if the Tigers want to extend their home winning streak.

Looks like we need to play a nickel D all game and make sure all of our kickoffs go through the end zone.

Things can change, but if we win this one, we have a very good shot at being 7-0 before our game at UCF.
