RE: UAB @ UGA
One thing everyone in this thread is over looking for UGA and before you put them beating Bama or for that matter a top team with a really good QB and Oline....

UGA has not shown they can consistently drive the field. Having your QB to throw the ball 40 yards and let a wide open receiver catch it is not going to be the same vs top teams with a lot more speed and talent than UAB. UAB's game played right into the UGA's defense...if UBA cannot hit the deep pass they most likely are going to lose that game. Its ground and pound and throwing the deep ball for UAB. A good team with a good QB that has a short passing game can work around that big, quick, dline.

After the 2 weakest games on the UGA schedule they are only averaging 4.1 a carry running the ball. Offense wins championships most years. Lets not forget this UGA team was a monster last year vs the run. They only gave uo 2.5 yards a carry. Only Cincy, uk, Bama went over 3 yards and no one had 4 or more yards a carry and only 2 of those over 100 yards...

UAB 3.5 and 127 yesterday

So I wouldnt be naming them champs just yet after killing a team that was way out classed in talent at every spot on the field.

I think both Florida and Alabama will have something to say about that.
