It's likely being handled internally. Creighton has suspended star players before (Roback, Crosby) so I don't see what would be different now. Nobody asked about it during the press conference, so we wouldn't know. Its not like teams put out press releases about player suspensions...
I looked at the stompgate video again, this time trying to view it from a different perspective. It is possible that Rush was stepping over his teammate that was on the ground in order to help him up. He seems to catch himself mid-stride when he saw there was no place to step because of the Wisconsin player on the ground. There's a possibility that this is one of the many situations where perception is not reality.

Just a different perspective.

Yes but there's the spitting and facemask allegations as well. True or untrue I don't know. Those Wisconsin fans, are out for blood. CC should do a full investigation and submit the findings to the conference.

Those short-sighted Wisconsin folks seem to think CC should be commenting on it publicly. I completely disagree with that. This is not the NFL. Besides, it's not like there's a throng of media covering EMU in order to even ask the questions.

Behind you all the way on that Nickle. I think we have to trust Coach will do the right thing based on his history of suspending his best players in the past. And yes, most importantly, EMU is NOT Wisconsin with a large media contingent devoted to reporting such developments.

Rush went over and messed with the UW player on the ground. It looked purposefully but also harmless. It was also dumb.
Every year there are one or two losses that can be traced back to mental errors. These seem to come from hot heads on the defense.

How bad was it? I don't think it was the Suh stomp from the Green Bay game.
