Inaugural Game at Protective - Ticket Sales
Still looking like a good bit of tickets remaining for the opening game against Liberty. Really hoping for a good showing tomorrow on National TV to drum up interest. I really would like for it to sold out on opening night.

Inaugural Game at Protective - Ticket Sales
Wasn't there a post from a couple of days ago that said there were only about 500 left?

RE: Inaugural Game at Protective - Ticket Sales
For a truer picture of the tickets remaining, don’t look at availability of tickets for that game, look at the availability if you try and buy a season ticket.

I’d say it’s about 50% of the tickets remaining.

Hopefully we have an aggressive marketing plan rolling out about now. A half full stadium would be disappointing.

Not to sound unconcerned, but this has always been a walk-up town. If it's a crisp fall day we might get some of those.

He didn't say 50% of tickets were remaining. He said season tickets were 50% of the remaining.

Fact is, it is damn near sold out now.

Yeah, our laying such an embarrassing egg like this today probably will cost us 5,000 in attendance on Oct. 2.

The causal Birmingham fan won’t care if we beat UNT by 40. This was a test of whether they see us as legitimate. Apparently, not so much.

A top 5 $EC win >>>>>>> regular C-USA win

In their eyes, a bottom 5 SEC win >>>>>>> a CUSA championship. And that's whose heinies we need to get into that new stadium.

When UAB loses like they did in front of a national audience it legitimizes what people in general think of the program, a good little G5 program with a great comeback story.
