There is significant context to Ahlers. With the way ECU handled Ruffin McNeil, we are going to remain with Holton. Regardless of performance . His Dad is the Announcer. We have a lot to pay back and credibility.

McNeil was an alumni and played for ECU. The way his situation was handled and addressed, not even getting to say good bye to the team. Think about that. NC state honored that guy by helping him work there. ECU needs to keep care of their own. ECU is working to pay that price back

Sad isn’t it. I believe were one of the only schools recruiting him as a QB. Everyone else wanted him as a TE.
