Where's WKU's sportsmanship? It's the anniversary of 9/11. Not only did one of their coaches act out, you would think that they would have stayed on the field while the Cadets sang their alma mater. Marshall's entire team lined up and did that at Navy.

I wasn't one, but it was said all throughout this thread. Perhaps more of those yards should have led to the endzone early on when it would have mattered? It was a nice show in the 4th, but you had 350 yds passing and 40 yds rushing with 7 minutes left and only 14 points to show for it at that time. Need to convert that offense to points or it doesn't really mean much. Good game. Most people will just see the score and assume it was closer than it was.

I try not to be baited by the trolls but when people start trying to throw shade on offensive players who were barely on the field all day it irks me. The defense was clearly to blame for 95% of our problems today. Zappe and Sterns had good games in my opinion. Saying "guess these guys were FCS all along" is just stupid.

Our assistant was waving a WKU player over. Monken yelled at him thinking he was yelling at the Army guys. Helton didn’t appreciate it. Watch the last kneel down play. All of Army’s lineman dove at the WKU players. Bush league %100.

I see him sticking his hand up to block him, waving him back like "you don't go there". Monken had just been fist bumping everyone but Helton to that point.

A big nothing burger. After games, there's confusion and asst coaches trying to wrangle players and they dont pay attention to other adults. They're focused on getting players, who are emotional, off the field.

Just a bunch of silliness. A minute's worth of heated exchanges on the field but will dominate the sports airwaves for a week. Sad.

It will also overshadow the fact that we actually had a pretty decent game on the field with a nearly miraculous comeback.
