...wondering if there is a MAJOR realignment fixing to occur...

Howza bout THIS scenario for theory and conjecture...

Of the 14 CUSA teams, 6 go to the AAC, 6 go to the Belt, and 2 go to the MAC...

Would be clean and relatively painless, all things considered... 03-phew

...not that the MAC is looking to expand (as far as I can tell... as of today, anyway...), but if they WERE looking, I'd think WKU and MTSU would work out as a 'southern tier' of the conference... not sure how their 'media deal' is, but ESPN has them on often...

I'm seeing the UTEP and UTSA to the MWC for sure... I think UTSA has a pretty fair 'up' side (not just because they whupped the Illini either (although it's not a bad thing))... but the 'pod' of UTEP, UTSA, UNM, and (sorta) CSU would be cool...
