On a slightly less serious note, there's also the "Johnny Majors Classic", featuring the coach's alma mater hosting the school where he won a national championship...

RE: Week 2 Games with Historical Significance
Special uniforms are going to be unveiled for the game between Rutgers and Cuse.

Sadly, with all the Covid restrictions we have playing indoors expect about a half full Dome with lots of no shows. We are supposed to wear masks at all times except for eating and drinking.

Kids 5-12 need to get a covid test to enter...sigh....

I'm nursing several drinks....

On a much less serious note, Rice hosts Houston in the 40th playing of the Bayou Bucket game. The Houston Touchdown Club created the trophy in 1974.

In the Holy War
All time: Utah 62-4-34 BYU
Streaks:
Unbeaten streak (21 games):
- Utah (1898-1941)
Winning streak (9 games):
- Utah 1929-1937
- BYU 1979-87
- Utah 2010-?

Utah looks to win 10 straight for the first time in series history.
