That's an assumption. We're used to schools filing there application to the new conference and withdrawal from the old conference at the same time, because they have some certainty about what date they plan the transition to happen.

Probably 2023, either as a 14 team league with Texas and Oklahoma, or a 12 team league without them.

And the 27-month notice. Which is still on the books for the AAC even though it's never ever been applied to anyone, makes things complicated..

Probably because they haven't given their official withdrawal notifications. I'm sure they've given some sort of unofficial notification, but I don't think the official certified letter and 2.5 million dollar check have been mailed. (That was from the bylaws I got published in 2011 with the West Virginia case. I'm guessing it's still the same)

I could definitely see that happening. What's a few buyouts or reschedules in the grand scheme of things compared to getting into the Big XII as early as possible. You guys could get Texas or OU at home if you get in early enough. That is worth the buyouts.

Congratulations to 4 really deserving schools into the P5. Was hoping UC, UCF could have been ACC Bound but again Happy for all 4 Schools getting the rep They earned

Oklahoma vs. BYU (Dallas) - 2009

Only going to comment on the UH games. UT playing us in '01 was 20 years ago. That isn't recent. OU did play us recently, but the 2016 game was a neutral site game.

Going to be a tough season for Houston, Cincy, and UCF. The rest of the American will be highly motivated. Should be some good games.

Fact is the new Big XII will be way ahead of the AAC and MW in terms of TV and other distribution monies.

It doesnt have to be on the level of the SEC or B1G. It wasnt even with TX/OU.
