I had a Negative Covid test this Tuesday.
So, I feel protected. The rest of you can do what you want. It’s your life.
What I want is to sit in Section QQ and watch my Tigers bring in a victory over ASU.
I watched a Louisville game from up there a few years back. My advice would be to move down as far as you can if room allows.

Here’s a question. As I recall, this is just bleacher seating, right? No seat backs? If so, I’ll carry in my stadium seats. Or do they rent those inside the stadium? My 76 year old back wants to know.

I believe they still rent them.
You can rent one or bring your own if you choose.

OK, thanks. My stadium seats are nice and wide, but might exceed the width of the assigned seat. I’d probably do well to rent two,, because then I’d know they fit.

Your stadium seat being an inch too wide normally just works itself out.
I always hate when people bring really deep stadium seats. Like they hang 3in over the back of the bench and dig into the shin of the people behind you.

Get vaccinated please
1.6 million contaminated doses pulled in Japan. Yes sign me up. Can't wait for long term side effects
The unvaccinated definately have a long term side effect. It is called death.
Most of us want to see some more Tiger games before we go. And btw, from watching 3 loved ones die of it, it's a very gruesome death...for the patient and the family. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Jokes on you, everyone has that same long term side effect

This is a really dumb comment. I’m 100% vaxxed and all for it. But people from all walks of life aren’t getting it.
Glad you are vaccinated
In terms of overall vaccinations the south lags well behind, it isn’t personal nor dumb, just accurate
Done here
You want to talk about the "south" lagging, that is fair.
But when you say "the confederacy", you are inappropriate.
1. Either you are ignoring the large proportion of Blacks who are refusing the vax.
2. Or, you are being insensitive to those Blacks by calling them Confederates.
The most vaccine-hesitant group of all? PhDs
A new study found that the most educated are the least likely to get jabbed
In some respects the findings are as predicted — for example the paper finds that there is a strong correlation between counties with higher Trump support in the 2020 presidential election and higher hesitancy in the period January 2021 — May 2021.
But more surprising is the breakdown in vaccine hesitancy by level of education. It finds that the association between hesitancy and education level follows a U-shaped curve with the highest hesitancy among those least and most educated. People with a master’s degree had the least hesitancy, and the highest hesitancy was among those holding a Ph.D.
What’s more, the paper found that in the first five months of 2021, the largest decrease in hesitancy was among the least educated — those with a high school education or less. Meanwhile, hesitancy held constant in the most educated group; by May, those with Ph.Ds were the most hesitant group.
So not only are the most educated people most sceptical of taking the Covid vaccine, they are also the least likely the change their minds about it…

Are you sure that demographics didn't play the pivotal role?

That study was proven in peer review to have many flaws. I know because I was very interested when it began popping up weeks ago, and I read all about it.
Basically they were studying RECENT vax hesitancy. It was over something like a 4-week period in June. Point being, PHDs had already made their minds up long before that, and those who were going to (the vast majority) got the shot early on. By June, you just had people still trying to decide. And since PHDs are stereotypical know-it-alls, they were not still trying to decide about the vax in June. So the PHDs included in the study as un-vaxxed by June were highly vax hesitant. The rest of their vaxxed peers didn't qualify for the study. Whereas many of the rest were still trying to figure things out in June.
