Now that this is official, I think I can tell y’all that he got a lot of P5 offers this year and ODU matched all of them including the offers from Texas. It was the second offer that landed him at Texas. Now, he can go there, crush it and will have his pick of any job he wants in a couple years.

That is great for him and well deserved. Any update on the ODU side of things?

All I know right now is Kyle gave them a list of people he recommended and Tristan Iannone is heavily involved on the search.

The Power 5s are trying to choke off the G5s, but it always buys away the G5 coaches, talent and marketing folks (then fire them 2-3 years later).
College football is sh$t and very soon there will only be 20-30 college football programs.

Dadgum it! If these guys are going to leave ODU and go to the great state of Texas, I would much rather see them go to Texas A&M! Congrats to Austin, and with that name I suppose it is only fitting that he goes to UT, but... GIG 'EM, AGGIES!

Kirk Campbell is off to Michigan.

Campbell is now the Quarterbacks Coach at Michigan. I'm really curious if he's gonna get caught up in the Michigan sign stealing scandal.

I remember other posters saying there was no choice “he had to go” but does anyone now know more why he was let go?

He was a lunatic during games. Think 12 year old losing Madden on Xbox Live. Not exactly a great fit for young QBs.
