Crazy idea, but if Nebraska did decide to can Scott Frost, Clay Helton would be a very good candidate for the Huskers, IMHO.

Someone here had asked the question whether a coach could be "tarmaced" after losing a home game. I guess we have our answer.

It wasn't *just* the home loss to Stanford though. It was six years of mediocrity for a blue blood top-10 program. USC only finished top-10 once, and certainly wasn't going to do so this year.

USC now gets the entire fall to locate and select the most likely desired P5 job opening this year.

Jacksonville lost its first game. Could USC pull a Bobby Petrino and lure Urban Meyer just games into his first NFL stint?

Uh, no... I root for Kiffen or Charlie Strong. I believe they both would do incredibly well at SC.
