Having a draft for Division I prospects to where players could no longer choose their schools?

"Yeah, son I know you're born and raised in Miami -- and you probably could get a lot playing time and maybe even start for the Hurricanes next season. But Oregon State has selected you, so that's where you'll need to go if you want to play college football."

How might that go over?

You don't try and cram all of the brands into the SEC & B1G and pay them 2X or more what the other power leagues get.

What does it matter if the best brands are in the BIG and SEC? If anything that makes more people care on Monday. You think more people watch if it’s the old 10 team SEC?

Heck, keep on adding. Add KU, add UNC, etc. Then do the same for BIG. Nebraska cares about Michigan now. Get all the best in the Pac to care too.

Rolling conferences together is the best way to get rid of little conference vs little conference vs little conference mentality
