To all my fellow monarch fans,
I have never been more serious in my life about what I'm about to say. A lot of us were sad and disappointed about the game Friday at wake forest but if you are a true Monarch fan, you will be there Saturday welcoming our team and our fellow fans back to old dominion football stadium. It was torture last year not to be out there with fellow monarch fans watching our team play. They deserve and we deserve a grand reunion for our team and I cannot wait to experience the atmosphere and the community pride of ODU. We need to be proud, our team is back playing again and it will be the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and we need this, they need this. I implore you to be there screaming your heads off for our team, our community, our future. As an ODU fan of 45 years, I have seen some incredible things, but in my mind, it's just beginning. It takes all of us, not just the team to bring all of us to where we want to be.

I totally agree. This team will definitely improve and I totally support them and the Coaches. This was 1 game. I will be there Saturday and every other game this year.

We have had season tickets since year one, and I have missed only a couple of games over the past eleven seasons. However, this year, covid presents a new and considerable challenge for us, as we are both in that most at-risk category of advanced age (I turned 75 last week) with medical issues. I have not made a final decision, but it is likely that we will forego the Hampton game this week, and that future attendance will be a week by week decision. So all of you that will be there, be extra vocal for the Aggie. Cheers, all.

I went onto ynottix.com and there's only two sections with tickets remaing. ODU v. Hampton about to be a sellout!

If you go to buy season tickets, more than those two sections are available. Believe they’re blocking off certain sections for the procrastinators.

Our group of 5 will be there cheering on the Big Blue. So far we have never missed a home game and we hope to keep it going for a few more years. *(To be honest we did leave the night game that was delayed like 2+ hours for lightning but other than that we also stay to the end. )

We brought our biggest road group ever to Wake. Bringing even more for the home opener. Can’t wait to be back in Ballard.

Lol I have missed a lot of games but I stayed for the lightning game against Norfolk State. Technically I went home but came back when I found out they were resuming the game. Gotta get every bit of Monarch football that I can.

Yes we brought a crowd also. Saw us in the video that Monarchists tweeted out on Saturday. ODU had a decent crew down there. Just need more to show all these programs and conferences that we really do have the potential we say we do. See you all in the Blue at 3:00 pm lot on Saturday!
