One guy was talking about how much bigger the GT team was than NIU…where? Thats insanity.

Look at the size of our line and our TEs. They are big guys. Way bigger than the GT Dline.

They are a cocky group for having had basically zero success outside the triple option in the past 20 years.

Imagine if these guys had PJ as their HC. They think Collins is a ra-rah guy their heads would implode with Fleck.

I for the record like Fleck.

It is hard for me to blame almost any P5 team (other than maybe Kansas) for taking an 0-6 MAC team lightly. I knew we’d be better but I’m not even sure deep down I thought we had a great chance to win. Probably the most stunning win I’ve seen in my nearly 20 years of being a fan.

Lets hope this ends up being a spring board instead of the highlight of the year. Have a real shot at a 3-1 OOC schedule now which should put us at minimum in prime position to make a bowl, something we all would have taken 5 days ago.

Their overconfidence didnt bother me too much pre game. But the outright ignorance was what made the win so great. “We are gonna dominate with our size” - did you not look at the rosters? Your LB crew is miniature. “They can’t handle our speed” - well I guess you better get in the open field so we could see it. And they’re still saying NIU is one of the worst teams in the country because they’re embarrassed at the sh$t talk before the game.

I would like to thank the really ignorant and cocky GT fans. You made that win even more fun.

GT has won 6 games in last 2 years? I don't think they have any room to talk about anyone being bad and expecting a win.

Kudos to 7 for such honesty.
It's really no different than when we assume wins over FCS opponents while P5 teams figure an advantage over a MAC foe, especially one that was coming off an 0-6 prior season. As much as I believed we would (will) be better this year, going into the game, IF I had to bet money it would have only been on the Huskies losing a close one. No offense, but that could have happened. Want a victory over Wyoming badly, but I'm also sure if we stumble and lose, the anti-Hammock fans will be in full voice.

Exactly. The same people beating their chests about respect are the some of the same group (you know who you are) who constantly want the coach fired.

Enjoy the win. If we're being honest we didn't deserve a ton of respect going into it. We do now.

Great view of the game-winning 2-point conversion.

Shows just how shite GT coaching is. WTF were they doing on pass defense? HA, HA!

Added to the boneyard video list. Gotta have/must preserve Baker's "Good bye Atlanta." Good find.

I remember we lost a close game to Wisconsin and we played WIU and Brian Jones the following week. I said we were gonna lose and the pitch forks came out. We lost hard…

With all of the technology today why can't I stream a game and choose the announcer. I would pay extra money to be able to watch the Huskies with Bill Baker announcing instead of the ESPN leftovers.
