wow, 3 and out

Big thing to watch for me is Griffin's ball security. We know he's talented, but I'd imagine schools will be punching at the ball as much as they can.

Never too early to start complaining. Two runs up the middle on 1st and 2nd down and then a 3rd and 8 passing play where Green's primary target is running a 3 yard route is how we get blown out today.

A nice longish-gainer 2nd-down pass/run to Rozner. But Green shows his vaunted knowledge of Bloomgren's system with three no-deception handoffs and an off-target 3rd-down pass.

Pretty good push by the OL on a couple of the straight-ahead runs. One that bounced wide left went for no/little gain.

I haven't given up QUITE yet

Stay in the gun unless it is less than 2 yards to go.

The defense looks woefully underprepared for the speed of Arkansas' offense.

But it's okay. I have high confidence in our offense and our 2 QBs.

Linebackers being tasked with doing all the defense, and that’s not humanly possible.

7-0 Hogs on a long scramble by Jefferson, their QB. Chamberlin’s missed tackle comes back to haunt.

Chamberlain over-runs his blitz, missing a sack at the Arkansas 30. QB runs for a first down at the Rice 48.

A few plays later, Rice D covers all the Hog receivers well ... so QB Jefferson runs up the wide-open middle for a 34-yard TD.

Sigh.

You really can't tell that these announcers are SEC announcers. Textbook definition of targeting. Led with the helmet, didn't even think about using his arms.
